Awesome Heroes Arena!

Wow. I’m super excited to finally announce the new multiplayer tablet game I’ve been developing with my bro Kristopher Horton! It’s called Awesome Heroes Arena and it’s not casual, not hardcore, but somewhere in between. Check out this vid and you’ll see what I mean:

Wanna play? Just fill out this quick questionnaire in order to be considered for the beta.

You choose a hero, some gear, then enter the arena to do battle realtime 4 on 4 PvP style with players from around the world. Each team has an overall score. First team to 100 wins. You earn points by KOing your foes or earning the loyalty of these little blue guys. Oh yeah, and there’s tons of random presents lying around which can sometimes be good and sometimes be bad!

Sorry I’ve been keeping this game a secret for so long. To make up for it, I’m extending an offer to all my friends and fellow cohorts in the game development world to the private beta testing of Awesome.

We can only accept about 100 people to the private beta, so if you’re interested, please fill out this quick beta sign up form. We’ll be choosing the lucky winners over the next couple weeks.

Keep tabs on the game’s development by bookmarking EscBros.com and subscribing via email or RSS. Looking forward to seeing y’all in the arena!

Is an Ipad required or does the game work on ios devices like ipod touch and iphone?

    • Nat Weiss

An iPad will be required during the beta period and during our initial launch. We will quickly be adding iPhone and Android devices, as we’ve developed with Cocos2d-X. We just want to make sure iPad works really great first.

btw, will this game be made to a starter kit like Monster Checkers or Quexlor?

    • Nat Weiss

The game itself won’t be made into a starter kit. But I will find ways to share what I’ve learned on the blog, chapters of the books and snippets of code.
